Located on 100 acres of rolling farmland in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes region,  Belvoir Hill offers an atmosphere of comfortable serenity in which to breed, raise, and train horses and ponies.

The riding arena, built in 1998, is spacious and bright.  Well placed with a north-south orientation, the arena receives sunlight from three sides, making it very pleasant - even in winter!  In summer two large doors remain open to provide excellent ventilation on even the hottest of days.  A heated viewing room provides year-round comfort for spectators.  The arena is equipped with a stereo sound-system which plays a pleasant mix of classical and contemporary instrumental music. A headset microphone allows for clear voice-over without interruption of the music.  Special footing material of oil-penetrated sand offers a superior level of footing that does not compact, never freezes, and provides for reduced injury to the horses.

Comfortable stabling for up to 18 horses is provided in the well-kept barns.  Horses are well cared for and turned out regularly with on-site supervision 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
